TRAINING COURSE

“PROMOTING VOLUNTARISM AGAINST SOCIAL EXCLUSION ”

2-10 September 2011

ANKARA-TURKEY 

Dear Friends,

Our project Training Course “Promoting Voluntarism Against Social Exclusion” has been approved by our National Agency. As Group Contrast we are going to organize this training for young people and youth workers who want to know more about voluntarism and social exclusion. As you know 2011 is the year of VOLUNTARISM. We hope to increase the importance of volunteering in all aspects of our lives.

The course will be during the dates of 2-10 September 2011 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. The participants will be in Ankara during in the morning on 3rd September 2011  and  leave on 10th  September 2011.

English is the official language.

We cover the accommodation only for the days of the event and % 70 of the travel costs will be covered. There will be 9 countries and 2 or 3 participants will join from each organization. The participants have to be a member of an NGO.

As Summer is a high season and the plane tickets are expensive, the applicants should reserve the tickets and after our confirmation they can buy the tickets. One option is going directly to Ankara by plane or going to Istanbul by plane and then come to Ankara by bus which is cheaper (it takes 6 hours by bus)

The participants will stay at a hotel at the center of the city and have time to see and visit the local places.

If the number of applicants is very high we have to make a selection.

Attached to this email, we are sending you APPLICATION FORM which must be filled in and sent by e-mail (word format) before 27 July 2011, so as to decide the partner organizations and participants. And also please send your original Part III by mail if you did not before.

We are sure that we will have a very enjoying course with you. We will have many interactive workshops and activities during these 8 days. We will let you enough time to see our city and have fun!!!

You can reserve the tickets of the applicants to buy cheaper tickets but please buy them after we confirm your participation.
